Winter Light Ball, Auction Results: Mark Nulty and Fiona Grant head Syndicate with Top Bid

PEAK BLOODSTOCK has gone from strength to strength over the past 2 seasons.

We have sourced and purchased winners for several trainers (See testimonials) and many different owners.

Kazal has gone from strength to strength for Eoin Griffin and Joe Comerford. He was placed in  grade 1 and grade 3 events and in between, landed the prestigious grade 2 Boyne hurdle at Navan. His performance at the World Hurdle at Cheltenham was the highlight of the festival for many people, and with a satisfactory return this year, finishing 4th in a grade 2 hurdle, this 7yo gelding by Villez has indeed the World at his feet this season.

Solwhit, has turned many heads within the industry with a facile win in the Evening HeraldHurdle at the Punchestown festival, following up in Killarney with an equally easy win in a competitive race on the flat, then finishing 3rd in the ultra competitive Irish Cesarewitch on the 28th September. A shade unlucky in losing might be understating the mark in that case. This very talented gelding followed up with the biggest win of his career to date when landing the November Handicap at Leopardstown on 2nd November in commanding style, easily brushing aside any challengers. He is now a two time winner on the flat and over hurdles and hopefully the best is yet to come.

River Liane, having defeated his rivals with great ease at Leopardstown and then under performed at the festival he has now bounced back in great battling style to land the ITBA Fishery Lane listed hurdle at Naas . Surely the start of things to come and connections are confident this 4yo by River Bay has a great future ahead of him.

Academy Sir Harry, still learning the game, is a credit to his trainer and popular owner Mr. Joe Comerford. Joe and trainer Eoin Griffins patience is now paying off for this lovely big 6yo. His bumper form was held in high regard last season, thanks to his proximity behind Cousin Vinny, and he has since gone on to land his maiden hurdle and now a Grade 3 novice hurdle at Navan. His astute trainer feels he will be better over further so Mr. Comerford already has a horse to follow in the footsteps of his stablemate Kazal.

Don’t Be Bitin landed the grade 2 Tied Cottage chase at Punchestown for owner Mark McDonagh, and we know he is confident of picking up many prizes with this talented 7yo son of Turtle Island over the next year.

The versatile Norther Bay has shown definite potential and class on both the flat and over hurdles for John Brennan, and while his performance at Cheltenham proved a shade disappointing, we should remember this 5yo was having only his 4th start of hurdles on this occasion and the experience will benefit him greatly over the coming season.

Other horses who have performed with great distinction include Lucky Wish, Bantry Commons, Dariak, Lounaos and Hollies Favourite.

We have also recently sourced some nice horses for our clients, which have yet to set foot on a race track, however we anticipate some thrilling success for our ever broadening list of owners and trainers. Our goal in business is to supply top class, sound racehorses to the market place and while we have achieved much over the past years we feel confident that our sources and our methods of business can reap even further rewards over the new season and coming years. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all associated with PEAK BLOODSTOCK LTD. And to wish each of our clients continued success and luck.
